Madhya Pradesh Police’s Indore Crime Branch team arrested notorious land mafia Deepak Jain alias Dilip Sisodia alias Deepak Madda from Vrindavan in Mathura on Wednesday night. However, the authorities have not yet confirmed the arrest of Deepak Jain. If sources are to be believed, Deepak Jain had stayed in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh for a long time. Police can reach Indore with him by this morning, after which senior officers will give detailed information by holding a press conference.
In February 2021, Manish Singh, the then Collector of Indore, got six FIRs lodged against Madda in the land grab case and then imposed Rasuka (National Security Act) on him. Later, Madda had sent a letter signed by Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) to the police, asking them not to arrest him, as the Home Department had canceled the NSA imposed on him.
When the Indore police sought information about letter number 3525/825/2022 from the Home Department, it came to know that no such letter had been issued. After this, Indore’s Khajrana police had registered a case against him for cheating, making fake documents and other sections, after which the search for Deepak was on.
