Medi-Caps University celebrated National Science Day on February 28, 2023 with great fervor and enthusiasm. The theme of the National Science Day 2023 is “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”. The day marked the discovery of the Raman effect by the Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman. In honor of this achievement, the university organized various events, science exhibition and programs aimed at promoting science and its importance in everyday life.
The day began with the inauguration of Science day carnival by the Honorable Chancellor of the University, Shree R.C Mittal along with presence of Pro chancellor Gopal Agrawal,Vice chancellor Prof(Dr.) D.K Patnaik and University officials.
In Science exhibition, various departments of the university like all branches of engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, computer applications, management, and science showcase their scienotech projects and achievements.
Chancellor visited the stalls and congratulated all the teams for conducting the outstanding science fair and exploring great ideas of innovation and research. The exhibition showcased various projects and models created by students, researchers, and faculty members. The projects ranged from renewable energy sources to robotics and nanotechnology.
The exhibition was open to the school children, parents, members of the scientific community, alumnus, faculty members and students from various departments of the university, who were welcomed by the organizers and introduced to the different food stalls.
Hon’ble Chancellor, praised the efforts of the university in promoting science and technology and urged the students to continue their pursuit of scientific knowledge.
During his visit few projects have been identify for the incubation, and he promises for further funding to selected projects and startups for the university. The Program is successfully coordinated by Dean Engineering and his team. In the valedictory ceremony convenor shows the gratitude to chief guests and all the dignitaries. The organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated in the event and helped make it a success.
