It all began in the small city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India in 1984 when Shri Dhanpat Bothra started a small unit of eatables and namkeens. He had a vision of creating snacks with the ancient gastronomic traditions of Indore, and he made sure that his products were of the highest quality. The first products were wafers, sev, bhujia, daal, chavana and cheevda, all of which had an irresistible taste. Customers responded enthusiastically to these snacks and soon Om ke Wafers became one of the most popular brands in the chips industry in Indore. With the steady growth of business, Shri Bothra was soon opening more branches in the various areas of the city. The response from customers kept getting better and better, thanks to the high-quality products, freshness and hygienic packaging. Over the years, the company kept evolving and adapting to customer demands and market trends. Today, Om Namkeen manufactures more than 380 popular products and these snacks are available all throughout the state. After more than three decades in business, it’s no surprise that they still remain one of the best when it comes to taste.
